OK sounds like I'm going to have to come down at least 3 or 4 days early in March in order to fit in some touring and a BW weekend before the mission.

Ahhh...definitely worth the trip my friend. I've heard the best time is the February-March timeframe for the birds and the flowers. What do ya think my friend? Sound like a road trip?

Tabasco on tinned, smoked oysters is really good too. When you can't get fresh shucked, you gotta do what ya' gotta do!

In Virginia Beach one of the waterfront hotels does half shells for $.25 each... bring your own Tabasco though, they had some poor imitation of hot sauce that did not accomplish the trick.

Dixie beer from NOLA is a very good beer and can be found very cheaply outside of that market area. If you see some, buy it, it is a full bodied flavor and goes nicely with oysters, Tabasco, crackers or most southern delicacies!!
Regards,
Bob

They have farms in Honduras and Colombia that grow most of the peppers now, but they still grow enough peppers on the island to ensure the proper seed stock and supply about 5-10% of this liquid goodness.

I wonder where that fish has gone.
You did love it so.
You looked after it like a son.
And it went wherever I did go.
Is it in the cupboard?
Yes! No!
Wouldn't you like to know?
It was a lovely little fish.
And it went wherever I did go.
It's behind the sofa!
Where can the fish be?
Have you thought of the drawers in the bureau?
It is a most elusive fish.
And it went wherever I did go!
Oh fishy, fishy, fishy, fish.
Fish, fish, fish, fishy oh!
Oh fishy, fishy, fishy fish.
That went wherever I did go.
