When you can't get fresh shucked, you gotta do what ya' gotta do! In Virginia Beach one of the waterfront hotels does half shells for $.25 each... bring your own Tabasco though, they had some poor imitation of hot sauce that did not accomplish the trick. Dixie beer from NOLA is a very good beer and can be found very cheaply outside of that market area.
